Installation of SRO Inspection & Safety System
ARC undertook the Installation of Progress Rail’s Inspection & Safety Systems for SRO. The scope of work included:-
• Creation of Method Statements,
• Creation of Safe System of Work,
• Site Safety whilst work next to and on the track,
• Installation of New Railway Sleepers
• Installation of Trackside Foundations for Equipment
• Trenching and Manhole Installation
• Installation of Hot Bearing & Wheel Detection System
• Installation of Wheel Impact Load Detection System (WILD)
• Installation of Acoustic Bearing Detection System (ABD)
• Installation of Monitoring System in Operation Control Centre (OCC)
• Testing & Commissioning of the System This work was undertaken to support our partner Progress Rail in helping them securing work directly with SRO. Progress Rail was extremely happy with our performance and they have now appointed ARC as their Distributor, Maintainer, Technical Support & Installer for these systems within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
