ARC successfully provided supply chain management services to Progress Rail USA, A Caterpillar Company since 2015 to support spare parts supply required to successfully complete warranty of the Progress Rail supplied locomotives to SAR and SRO. ARC took full responsibility of material transported from Progress Rail USA and Mexico stores to Saudi Customer sites. The service included dealing with Saudi customs requirements. ARC maintained a dedicated Team full time working on management of the stock. Our Team checked deliveries when shipments arrived and reported any irregularities, maintained inventory management procedures and system and submitted regular reports to Progress Rail ARC maintained a protected stock of the warranty parts to ensure smooth operation of the rolling stock using KWE covered and secure warehouse in Dammam Industrial City. The warehouse location is close to both SAR and SRO Rail Depots in the Eastern Province. ARC processed and delivered to customer sites over 154,000 items during the lifetime of the project with app. value of 100MSAR.
