I would like to welcome you all to the Arabian Railway Company (ARC) website and I hope you find our website informative and useful. I would like to take this opportunity to give you a brief introduction about ARC and our future vision to be the leading railway services company in Saudi Arabia.
ARC started its railway activities in 2007, under its operations arm MRS, a well known company in the Saudi railway industry that quickly became one of the industry's leaders with great successes and achievements and by building a strong base of partnerships with some well-known international companies in the railway industry; to name a few, Electro Motive Diesels (EMD), Bombardier, CAF, Serco, American Railcar Industries (ARI) and Thales. In addition ARC enjoys a very strong relationship with the Saudi Railway Organization (SRO) and the Saudi Railway Company (SAR), more detailed information regarding our partnerships and achievements can be found within this site. We are working continuously to maintain our leading position by improving our current services that cover a wide area of disciplines including train operations, train maintenance, signaling and electrification and logistics support.
ARC recognises the huge investments in the railway industry in Saudi Arabia that include the expansion the railway network which is spreading all over the country, the metro projects that are due to be launched in the near future, the increased need for the automated people movers (APM) within the mega complexes (i.e. airports, financial districts, economic cities and universities), hence our long term vision is to have a foot print on all these railway projects in Saudi Arabia and play a major role in the foundation and the operation of those projects.
Finally, I would like to thank you personally for taking the time to visit ARC site, and I have no doubt that with my teams collective work and enthusiasm we will be able to achieve our vision and aspirations to make ARC one of the top names within the railway industry in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.
